Rickard says that "It would be interesting to combine this with something like XStream, as it would make it possible to deserialize XML streams quite easily. Since one doesn't have to wait for the entire document to load (only a subtree) it should make it possible to have XStream deserialize a continuous XML stream which might contain, for example, a message queue or commands."
